The Experience

I believe God has moved in us so great and we ushered the vision He gave us. We were conducting the treasure hunt and we were group into five. It was exciting because we were going to look for our treasure who is a person. The destiny team gave us some paper which would be a treasure map for the treasure. The treasure would serve as a guide to which person God would lead us. The treasure map had specific guides like location, name of the person, what he or she is wearing, specific problems in the body (which we would pray) and any distinguishing mark in that person’s body. So we were really excited. When God gave us the vision, I believe the location would be near a fountain and a street while the other group member told me also about a dove to be seen in the location. All of us also agreed on the vision that the person would be wearing a green polo shirt, black pants and black shoes. The name was really absurd at first because in the vision most of the names were male names and with a long hair (the names were Ryan, Darren and Jonathan. Two names were of a woman like Rose and Bing). While the other information about the person was that he/she has a problem or pain in the knee and that the distinguishing mark is a tattoo and a tire (the tire is absurd,but still God revealed it —-> God awesome!).

Anyway,after having the information for our treasure map, God led us into the area near UCCP church (the place was near Gaisano South Mall Davao at the back of it was the UCCP church). We were waiting for the person that God would reveal to us but we felt that there was something missing. I checked the treasure map again and I noticed that God was actually telling us to follow directions. I looked again at the location I wrote (because it make sense,that’s why they call it a treasure map), first place I wrote, was a “fountain”. And guess what, lo and behold at my right side across me was a fountain at the APO VIEW Hotel. God really maneuvered and orchestrated the event. We cross the street and looked at our treasure map.

After that we just followed the treasure map, and asked God to reveal to us what would happen next. To our surprise across the other street was a person who had the description of the green polo shirt,black pants and black shoes. So, we were kind of hesitant at first to come near and shy, but when we went closer to the person, I felt God is telling me to look at a building, and there it was a picture of a DOVE. We were astonished and amazed by how God really leading us into His precious treasure. So we immediately go to the person and engage into a conversation (Remember, the names we wrote were usually in guy names). We got to that person and talked and to our surprise the person was actually a woman in her early 50’s. She looked like a man in her outfit. (She was not lesbian just to be clear about it) But she sort of looked like a man which was pretty connected with the names we came up, man and woman names. We asked her name and she said her name is Jines. We said to her that she is a treasure of God,precious to Him and she smiled. We asked her if she would have no problem if we just ask her some few questions and she approved of it. We asked her if she has a “knee” problem and she immediately said YES, on her left knee. We were like ecstatic and really excited to know that all of the things about the treasure map and how God unravels bits and bits of his amazing revelation about the woman.

Finally we asked the last question and said if she had a tattoo (which was kind of a weird and absurd on that moment) and she said YES. WOOOOOW! We were like, wooow! Am I dreaming? We were amazed by how God led us to his precious treasure. We were awestruck and speachless at that moment. We were amazed and happy. So we gave her a prayer and commanded in the name of Jesus that sickness be gone and asked God to let his kingdom come and heal the woman with a knee problem and the amazing thing that happened was that she got instantly healed. We hugged the woman and said to her that God loves her so much. We spoke about salvation and the truth about Jesus death on the cross and then she received Christ Jesus as her Lord and savior. She got teary eyed we were moved by the glory and power of God. Our hearts felt the love God gave to the world. (John 3:16) It was God’s amazing compassion, mercy and grace that we got saved. 

You know what’s amazing about God’s supernatural encounter, it felt as if it was just ordinary and natural because in God’s kingdom it is natural to have no sickness and pain. I believe when we walk in the fullness of God’s love, it is bringing his kingdom into us and sharing all the greatness of God’s love.

God shames the wise and uses little and insignificant things to be used for his glory even the absurd things so that out from your weakness God’s power is seen(even the Bible has too many absurd things but the outcome was amazing… God is awesome)

By the way I forgot to mention that the woman was working at the street because she was a street sweeper. Remember about the distinguishing mark about a tire, and the location was the street. All the more it made sense that she was sort of related to working in the street.

Jesus we thank you for the mark of blood of the lamb that you made on the cross. We celebrate the day you gave us hope…

God loves everyone and he is really concern in every details of our lives. Jesus gave his life for us so that we get to experience the fullness of life and relationship that is in our heavenly Father. Just stay in love with God and Jesus. Have a blessed day
